I went cold turkey after the same time and dosage as i was told to by the pharmacist as there was a concern i was allergic to Sertraline. The last 4 weeks have been awful with various withdrawal symptoms from raised anxiety, awful vivid life-like dreams where I'd wake up thinking it was actually happening, itching skin, broken sleep which left my always tired , aches and pains, nausea , shaking hands, low libido ,low level headaches, stiff neck and this awful thing called brain zaps . Was shocked how Sertraline can not only give you awful side effects when you start but ad bad withdrawal symptoms. I'm going to avoid such meds in future if i can and now due to have cbt, exercise each day and daily self help hypnosis
