Call your doctor and tell him you went cold turkey seven days ago. You do not play games like this when you use these medications. It is not safe.

I did the same thing when I was taking citalopram 20mg. I stopped almost cold turkey. I felt awful and had to go home from work. The good news is that I wasn't back to square one; it was just a temporary blip. When I started taking it again I felt fine. Start taking it again and talk to your doctor about gradually stopping. They do say to take it for a bit longer than you think you need it though.

You need to slowly reduce this drug. Did you just suddenly quit taking it? This is a bad idea, just as your body must adapt to the drug it must also adapt to coming off the drug. You are getting a rebound effect. I would go back on it and stabilize then try to slowly come off of it. Hope this helps. Good luck Ali
