Hello. I am sorry to hear of the problems you are having. I'm now in my early thirties but my bladder incontinence started in my teens so when I was at school and college. It started with leaking and urgency leading to larger wettings. Things have got worse since.
What aspect are you most concerned about in connection to college?

I'm worried about potentially having a large accident while I am in class

It is a bit expensive at $1 or so a day (at least for a college student), but well worth the feeling of security.

Yeah the supermarket brands I don't find comfortable so I wear a different brand of adult pull up, I'm most worried about possibly having a large accident in class

If it's a no.1 accident, no big deal really, no one will notice.
If it's a no.2 accident, you'll have to prepare yourself accordingly - sit near the exit door in case you need to rush off, have a bag of change things ready, and above all, keep your cool!

Well that's a relief!
My experience is that absolutely no one has any idea what anyone else is wearing underneath their clothes, and not a single person is looking for protective underwear. In fact, i would go so far as to say that most people wouldn't even know what type of underwear it was even if they did see it.
I know it doesn't feel that way, but that's the actual reality. I have worn adult diapers to meetings, in social occasions, to the mall, and even with a girlfriend before I told her. No one ever gave me a funny look, even when I was having an accident in them.
You'll be okay. Maybe test out what it might feel like before you get to college, by going out in public just to build up your confidence.
