Colloidal Gold for CFS

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone ha tried taking Colloidal Gold for their CFS symptoms and if you have had good results. I am considering trying it but don't want to waste this amount of money if it doesn't help. My other thought is Q10. Thanks and I look forward to your replies, Paula

Hi Paula, i think with CFS almost anything is worth a try. I tried colloidal silver with no benefits (Silvercillin brand). Gold is understandably meant to be even more powerful.

I just started taking coq10. If you try colloidal gold let me know how you go.

Yes David I most certainly will. I know you have tried nearly everything so thought you may have tried it. We do have to try everything but without causing any extra damage to our bodies which is my only concern. Please let me know if coq10 helps :-)

Hi Georgia I know she does but I want to find out if others have taken/take it befor I spend over £40 on a bottle as someone mentioned it possibly has not much effects other than making you remember dreams.

I have a water distiller and you can buy equipment and make collodial silver at home. Perhaps collodial gold too. I'm thinking of doing it because I don't see the point of buying these expensive things that might be excellent but only if you take them for a long time and I can't afford that.

hi Gizmo. no i haven't tried Colloidal Gold, but have successfully used Colloidal Silver for my infections as i react to Antis. they exacerbate almost all my ME/CFS symptoms.

in the past 6 months i have had a mitochondrial profile/screen (blood test) done & was almost totally depleted in Q10, B3, Selenium & v. low in Magnesium. i've also been low/depleted in vitamin b12 & Vitamin d.

i've responded quite well to the addition of all 6 to my treatment program. it does take time to correct all the damage due to the prolonged depletions though. i'm dependent on Q10 & Vitamin B 3' (in it's activated form), for symptom palliation @ the moment. i'm hoping this will eventually pan out as the body learns to reactivate these pathways & absorb from the diet. i've difficulty tolerating the Magnesium.

    best wishes

    Caitlin.
