Colon ca

Hi every one.My husband is 46 no hstry of colon ca in family.He has been experiencing changes of bm,mostly loose stool and ribbon like if shaped for the past 3months.no weight loss,no visible bleeding ( occult test just came positive today),no pain no loss of appetite.I'm very worried about colon ca ...Tomorrow we have appointment for gastro especialist...his cbc was normal although hgb in the lowest normal level...I'm definitely for a colonoscopy but I'm so nervous that I can't do anything and I don't want to make him nervous...plz ic anyone had these symptoms help me

    Let him go through with the colonoscopy-it will show anything that needs sorting out-fear won't get you anywhere-have to do what is best and tests like colonoscopy are there to sort out problems with intestines. (I know I had one)
