Colonoscopy is over but?

Hi guys short story, have had stomach issues last 4 years, 3 years ago seen a specialist who did a colonoscopy and endoscopy, ct scan with dye, ultra sound heaps of bloods stools. All came back good results ( helipylonbactor only thing found) my major problem is diarrhoea after meals, mainly fatty greasy meals. Not all the time. So seen a new specialist 3 weeks ago who did blood tests and stool tests. Found high calprotectin so they rang me to say a Colonoscopy has been ordered. Today before the procedure I asked him how high was it, he said on the border line, but wanted the colonoscopy just in case. Now i wait for results, stressing out now. The bowel prep was good, findings= there was a few small ulcers in the ileum, 5mm polyp in the sigmoid colon, 5mm polyp in the rectum, these were completely resected using cold snare, mild diverticulosis noted in sigmoud colon.

Biopsies were taken from the terminal ileum, polyps resected.

Conclusion iteitis, colonic polyps, diverticular disease. 3 weeks for histology results. He said polyps looked fine, he said dont worry. He also said the prep drink may cauce inflamation of the itetis, so i may need anotger colonoscopy in 6 weeks time! Ahh. I have no pain, no joint pains, or cramps. If i take one imodium i am good for 3 days. If i stick to metamucil i get no water stools. I know these 3 weeks will stress me as in sleep, work and free time. Thanks for reading

I'm surprised he didn't give you the results right after. My Dr. Always comes in after it's done and tells me about everything. He even gives me pictures. The only time I've had to wait was when he had to do biopsies. Can you look at your results on the computer? Do they have a way to login to the Dr.s info? What is it about having the second colonoscopy that gives you so much stress. I have had a capsule endoscopy, that is how they diagnosed my Crohn's for sure.
