As long as there is no significant itching, pain or swelling, there should not be any reason to worry.

    Ensure proper hygiene.

Irritation of the tip is very common. Try changing your soap to a mild cleanser ( like baby soap).

If the problem persists, you may consult a skin doctor or urologist.

So as Amarjeet is getting at, what you are describing is a dermatological reaction - and most often this is simply caused by what you wash your penis with, this is most often due to contact with soap, shower gel or any other form of body cleanser, or a combination of all of these

When you shower or take a bath, pull the foreskin as far forward as you can to protect the head of the penis, wash everywhere else on the body first then fully rinse, then expose the head of your penis and wash the head and foreskin with water only, rubbing with the inside of the hand and your fingertips to clean. Just as important is fully drying your penile skin - if you take showers dry your foreskin and head of your penis first with a clean dry towel, that preferably, only you use.

For the dry cracked skin Liquid Coconut Oil is best or Raw Shea Butter. All you need is a very light application every other day - best time to apply is after you have fully dried yourself after a shower.
