My acupuncturist and doctor both believe I'm still fighting mono over 12months later. This virus is hard to stop. I still have inflammation in my chest and ribs, sore throat and neck pain as well as occasional fatigue.. The battle continues..

    Hi Rosanna,

I do think this can be normal during the course of the virus, it can be another flu type virus hitting you when you're already feeling poorly with the glandular fever (which will go away like a flu does), or it can be the effects of the glandular fever just getting a little worse again for a period (which can happen but it does get better too).

Remember not to panic because no matter what you are not back to the start again, it's just another stage of the recovery phase and every mini relapse like this is helping your body get on top of the virus and work towards a full recovery. It won't last nearly as long and you will feel better again, truly I believe that.

Take care and thinking of you (you too Caroline and Back to me)

    Craig
