Comfused about herpes

So a little over a week ago I shaved down there including my bottom. After working and sweating in places I ended up haveing a small bump around my anus. I didn’t think anything of it. The next day I started having all kinds of bumps. I had been itchy and a little burning and irritation. I thought it was just razor burn. I tried all kinds of meds but it wouldn’t go away. I went to a clinic on Friday and she told me I have a bacterial infection but there are s couple lesions that look like herpes. I ended up going to the hospital because I was having a panic attack. The doctor there told me I had folliculitis and he didn’t think that I had herpes. The next day I had another panic attack and went to the hospital and snotherndoctontold me that I do have folliculitis but that there are lessions  that look like herpes as well. Indiana my know what to believe and they haven’t called me about my test result yet.

You need to ask for a simple blood test so they can test for the virus just looking at you won’t tell them for sure . Because if you do have herpes you want to get on antiviral meds asap if you are having an outbreak. Where is this bump at exactly and are you in pain

They took a swab already. I’m just waiting on the results.

It does hurt. It feels irritated and it’s burns. The bumps are all around my anus. Exactly where I shaved.

The lesions may look like the worst case scenario because you've just shaved and this irritates the skin - my skin always looks terrible when I shave down there!
