After being on amoxicilin for 8yrs for insomnia only dr decided need a change he took me staight of them cold turkey onto zopiclone nogo then zolpidem bad side effects and to come of now been on mirt 3.5-5 mg 14 days broken sleep all night then 7.5 straight 2hrs then broken altogether bèn on 18 days can i come staight of and ask for amoxicilin again

I thought Mirtazepine 15mg was the lowest dose?? I am in it and it helps, but omg 45mg Mirtazepine really helped me sleep-10hrs straight!
I wouldn't suggest you go cold turkey. Can you not increase dose with your dr?
Never heard of amoxycillin for insomnia ?? thought they were just antibiotics?

Your Specialist will follow a certain pathway and may not look back, it all depends on how your body has been reacting. I really get confused with all th drugs they push down our throats. See how it goes. Tell us how you got on

The mediation does work for me as an additional AD and I take them at night to let me sleep with my Citalopram. If I took them during th day I would be a zombie if I took them in the morning
