did it work for you? what strength? and were you taking just that or anything else with it? im on day 2 of 100mg sert after 2 weeks at 50. feel awful. 2 years ago i was on 100 sert with 15 mirtazapine and it did eventually work. how was you coping during your 7 years? and if i was you come off very slowly.

hi..i was on sertraline for about two years. i had quite unpleasant withdrawal symptoms so i came off it extremely slowly. took me 6 months from 100 g. i used a razor blade /knife to cut the pills into smaller segments and asked the doctor for smaller dose pills which helped with the dividing. each time i cut down i would have a few days to a week of feeling rotten before acclimatising again.

please remember everyone is different and ask your doctor for advice. best of luck.

about eight + years ago i was on 200mg, stayed on that for many years, then 150 then 100 for a couple of years went to 50mg about six months ago. Been off completly for 10 days now! (partly because i forget to take them with me when i went away for long weekend) also went cold turkey on amatriptraline and zopliclone at the sametime. (same reason) so thats 13 days without anything! have been feeling great apart from today!!! thought i might be over the worst? but not today
