I am on it right now for over 2 years. My pattern is using it 2 to 3 years at a time, then I can sail on my own for 2 or so years, then some major life shock takes me down again and I return to my friend, Sertraline. Depressive disorder is a beast that rears it's ugly head but I have a good weapon!

I always let my doctor know when I want to ween off and ask him how to go about it so it will be safely done.

I've been on it for a year and a half and have been reducing from 100mg for the past six months or so. Currently taking 25mg once a day. I think the key is to take it slow and obviously speak to your doctor first before reducing.

    Best of luck smile
