Good luck on your joumey ~ thankfully I found this forum in my darkest moments. Any further questions I'd be happy to assist.

Welcome Dawn were you able to access the link? It's always helpful to know " you're not alone" in this journey. Many have an easy taper, many do not. By reading other's symptoms you realize you're not crazy as the drs. sometimes make you feel.

i thought I was going crazy as well until i found tht link. My Dr. said I couldn't have withdrawls 6 months out. They don't know everyone responds differently. I was on 150 mg., tapered at 25mg per month for 3 months. I've been off sertraline for15 months. I still awake most mornings with nausea, tummy cramps, and internal shaking. This morning for instance I've been up two hours have eaten and still am nauseous. My memory is terrible, post sert. I always had a good memory. I'm hoping it returns eventually. I can only consume one cup of coffee or anxiety sets in this applies to wine also. I was never like this before either. I was put on this drug as I was anxious and depressed due to seasonal effective disorder. It was a nighmare for 10 months ~ never again will I go on a psychiatric drug! Drs. in Canada where i live perscribe this stuff like candy in my opinion! Most I doubt have ever been on this stuff so have no idea of teh long term repercussions.

Were you able to access the link?
