Coming off setraline

Hiya, I've posted before for tips on coming off. I'm feeling anxious today and need some reassurance!
Has anyone else been on them for 8 months and then felt better and decided to come off them.
Is anxiety a common sign of withdrawal and will it develop into as bad as the initial side effects when you first start taking sertraline?
Thank you :-)

I've been on sertraline since December last year. I was on 50mg I then took myself down to 25mg for the last month , and for the next two weeks I'm doing 25mg one day nothing the second day.
Depending on dosage I advise to come off slowly. You do get some body reaction but it's normal so don't worry

I also started mine Dec last year and take 50mg.
I've been taking 50 one day and 25 the next for the last 2 weeks. By the end of this month I aim to be on 25 a day for aug and then every other day in sep and then plan the next step dependent on how I feel!
Because I was feeling anxious today it made be worried incase im not ready to come off - plus you read horrible stories online. But the doctor reckons I am and I read anxiety is a common side effect so I think I need to man up and see it through xx

It's not about manning up, it's about being kind to yourself while you go through the adjustment
In the times today if you can pop out and get one they have a great self help section on anxiety/ depression etc which helps re enforce the good work we are doing.
When I feel less confidant I remember how many mountains I've already climbed.. Successfully!
I also practise mindfulness meditation each morning it's great as it anchors your breath and calms the mind.
You are doing GREAT Trace
