this time I had a different surgeon who used a bead method of stitches any imformation would be great

      Waiting4 my second TKR igot a cancelation to go in 3days  wich I took 3changes of dressings because of bleeding I saw 1bead on one side a ad a cord on other end of cut

    Is it one long continuous stitch that dessolves like threading beads on a necklace??

      No bead on one side of cut cord on other side of cut no stitches visible I don't think thy disolve

      yea they do , i had these , so easy no worries at all , did get one that came out ,ut was about 6 inches long , but i didnt have any pain with it

      I had a long continuous stitch with a small knot on one end ...the nurse came and cut the knot off and the stitch just dissolved ...the scar is si thin and neat by summer it will be barely visible

    this method is good and easy , they just cut one end and out they come all in one
