Is anybody so low in their Vitamin D that they have to take Vitamin D supplements? I am and I started taking some but they made me really sick... My doctor prescribed be Replesta NX 14,000 IU once weekly and I just took my first one. I'll let you all know I guess lol. Wish me luck and let me know ! (:

Hi Kaitlyn, check ALL the ingredients on the pack of supplement,  I am lactose intollerant as well as coeliac, my Doc gave me anti-inflams for a sore knee, i took one and threw up, on checking the ingredients there was lactose in the meds, got them changed to lactose free and was ok.   By the way I had no lactose problems until I became coeliac and gluten free, ( aparently the gut recognises latose as gluten and you get a reaction) hope this helps .

    Hi Kaitlin

I went to a nutritionist and she put me on Vitamin D anyway. I take 1x 25UG per day. I have a break from taking it from June - August, because I am out in my garden a lot in the sun.

    I have to take it

I have a different prescription to you but feel much better.

It needs to be taken with food or after you have eaten something in my experience.

    Good luck
