Hi

I'm Jay 24 yrs. old.

Last July 22, 2016 @10 am and 15 minutes after taking a bath I felt this slight dizziness came out of nowhere, I feel as if I was on a boat ride (swinging from side to side) so it sent me lying in bed but that didn't help, it goes on for almost 1 week then @July 28, 2016 (Thursday) I went to a local hospital with an outpatient clinic, the nurse asked me to wait for the Doctor for at least 30 minutes, so he told me to sit and relax for at least 15 minutes so he can check the BP, after 15 minutes he took my BP and it was 160/90. Another 15 minutes later the Doctor came in and he took my BP again it was still @160/90, he asked what I feel and I told him that I've been feeling dizzy for almost a week now, he also asked me if there are any history of heart problems in the past and I told him no that this was my first time having such a high BP but in the past there was some times that I have a BP of 140/80 but didn't feel dizzy at all, he also asked if there was someone in the family that has any hearts problems and I said there is and that almost in my father's side, my brother, my uncles, my aunties all suffers from having a high BP's. He also asked if I fought someone or I'm stressed during that week and I said I don't have much sleep for almost a week and a week before the dizziness started. He said that the dizziness may cause of a too much high BP or a vertigo. So he scheduled me for a medical test ECG, blood test, urinalysis but need to do this the next day because I need to be fasting after dinner but for now he made me drink one tablet of a 16mg of Betahistine (SERC) and come back after 1 hour, after 1 hour he took my BP and from 160/90 to 150/90 so it dropped 10 points but still high, he said to go home and tak a rest for now so I can take the medical test the next day. Unfortunately the next day (July 29, Friday was having a bad weather, all heavy rains, the streets are flooded so I can't risk going out and catching a cold so instead I decided to just take a rest, taking 1 tablet of 16mg Betahistine @8am and another @6pm.

Then @July 30, 2016 Saturday I went to the outpatient clinic again to talk to the Doctor but he wasn't there, instead I asked the nurse to take my BP again and its 110/80 then knowing there was no appointment during Saturdays and Sundays I went home with a bit of  relief knowing that my BP came back to normal.

Then @August 1, 2016 I went to resume the medical test (fasted the night before) they took Blood test first, Urinalysis, and ECG last. The results will come out after 1 hr  so I went to find a cardio specialist to make an appointment, the nurse told me to wait at least 1 more hour for the doctor to arrive, for the meantime she made me rest at least 15 minutes then took my BP it was 130/90 the BP probably went up due to walking and climbing stairs. Since the Dr. will arrive after 1 hour I go eat some breakfast instead.

After 1 hour I go back to medical laboratoy again to get my results, then they have this list of normal range in the chart....some of my results were high and lows such as.

Uric Acid: 7.4

Normal Range: 3.4 - 7.0

Triglycerides: 175.5

Normal Range: 0.0 - 150.0

HDL: 33.0

Normal Range: 35.0 - 55.0

LDL: 120

Normal Range: 0 - 115

ALT (SGPT): 55

Normal Range: 0.0 - 41.0

All the other results such as CBC and ECG are normal.

Seeing and reading all this kinda makes me feel nervous, so I quickly go the cardio specialist, made me rest at least 15 mins then he took my BP and its 140/100.

He asked me how do I feel and what's the problem, I told him that I've been feeling dizzy for 1 week now and I've been prescribe by the the Dr. at the outpatient clinic with a 16 mg SERC and been taking them for almost 2 days now, and I also said that I feel nervous after seeing the results, he asked "Why feel nervous?" and I said "because of the results that are not normal" he then said "This are nothing to worry about, just a small points high and small points low" he also read the ECG results and he said it's completely normal which kinda gives me the relief.

For now though he said to avoid eating junk foods, softdrinks, and fast foods, basically foods that are high in cholesterol and sodium content.

He prescribed an increase of dosage in from 16mg to 24 mg of SERC and he said to take it at least 1 week, been taking it from August 1 and been feeling a bit better, then I stopped last August 12.

However, the swinging feelings is gone but itsreverse this time, whenever I walk it feels as if some is pulling the back of my head, I've been anxious since then, having bad thoughs, etc. that maybe I some sort of a serious disease, even worse I think that maybe I have a tumor or that I'm dying or something...

I'm planning in seeing an ENT and a Neurologist, and getting an Xray, and a CT Scan as well.

TBH I don't feel my life is normal anymore, the dizziness is not as severe as other people but it's just so disturbing.

Visited a cardio specialist a few days ago, It would seems that it's not my BP that causing the lightheadedness that I had suffered because even know I have a normal BP I still feel lightheaded at the time, now the lightheadedness has subside but there is a tiny bit of a rocky feeling in there...I say I'm 90% recovered now, my vision is now fully back to normal. Hopefully and goodwilling that I will get to 100% full recovery in a few more weeks, and I also no longer taking any medications except a multivitamin with B complex. I also ate a lot of fruits such as water melon, pineapple, bananas, avoiding coffee and foods with high sodium content, also getting a lot of sleep whenever I can, doing also some cycling and swimming which also helps reduce stress.

I really hope that everyone in here suffering from constant lightheadedness and dizziness will get a speed up recovery,  I pray for you all that you get recovered as soon as possible and that whatever we are currently suffering is not going to come back ever.

    Godbless
