Constant burning and sharp pains for 8 months

I posted this in the Neru theard but now I'm going to post it in here
I first thought I had herpes but test after test has shown I don't have any STDS. My doctor told me since I have a weaken immune system it would be impossible for me to not show symptoms so that gave me some relief (in the STD perceptive).
However, this has been going on since middle Oct. So basically this has been going on for 8 months. And it all started after I had a horrible reaction to Amoxicillin. I don't understand what's going on and same with my doctor. A urologist told me I just have muscle problems in my vagina and that I need to do Kegel exercises.
So then why does it burn sometimes? Why am I always feeling pins and needles? Could it possibly be nerve damage? Sometimes it gets so bad I can't sit down.
I've gone to multiple doctors because of this I have a feeling some of them don't believe me.
I noticed I get some relief if I don't drink soda, and citrusy. However it's only some relief.
Have yall had the same experience

Hi Meme242, just going to recount my experience. I had similar pain, burning, etc in that area for seven years and no help from doctors. Eventually found out I have a sensitivity to the chemical solanum, which is found naturally in the following foods: potato, tomato, chilli peppers, capsicum, tobacco, eggplant and goji berries. When I stopped eating these I got complete relief from my symptoms. Now I'm aware this may not be your problem, but I feel that you should be aware of them. If, like me, you're sensitive to that chemical (and like you, I have a bad reaction to amoxycillin, since I believe the active chemical in that is similar to solanum) then you should get some relief. If I inadvertently eat any of the above foods, and they can be added in a wide range of products, then taking an antihistamine afterwards helps damp down the symptoms.
I hope this helps.

Yes this does help. How did you found our it was solanum? Just asking so I can found out what chemical I'm sensitive with

I came down with gastroenteritis, and was on liquids only for a week. During the time I wasn't able to eat, I found that my symptoms disappeared completely: pain free. So I wondered if it might have something to do with what I'd been eating, and when I went back onto solids, I introduced one food one day at a time. Easier for my recovering tummy, but also, I had an idea that was a way to "test" to see if any foods set me off. And potato did, big time! I ate a little mashed potato and back the symptoms came. So I did some research and found that potato is one of a group of foods called "solanacea", and includes all the other foods I listed in my first post. I researched a bit further and found that all the plants of this family manufacture a natural pesticide, solanum, and that there are usually parts of the plant that are unsafe, even poisonous, to eat. The solanaceas are in the Deadly Nightshade, or Belladonna, family. And they are deadly poisonous. I wasn't entirely convinced, but the next day I introduced tomato into my diet, and the same reaction occurred. Once again, stopped eating it, and my symptoms disappeared. Now I just avoid all of them. It may not be that you're sensitive to them, but if you are, you just need to avoid those foods and have a complete recovery. I've had no symptoms now (except for those times when I can't monitor ingredients, such as at a party or restaurant, etc) for the past ten years!
Good luck.

Ah I see. Since an appointment will probably take to long I'm going to try and eat a selective amount of foods. Its going to be really hard because it's basically everything I love to eat I have to stop but not going through pain is way more worth it

Suki girl is so right; there are no "one size fits all" cures when it comes to this, since different women have different triggers. I would second her suggestion that you see somebody who specializes in this.

Thank you for all of the advice. I'm going to look into some different doctors.

Amoxicillin in an anti-bacterial drug, which probably completely wiped all the good bacteria from your body leaving you with a wicked yeast infection hence the burning. Then because your body has been so uncomfortable for so long you probably have a tightened pelvic floor leading to the pins and needles feelings and other horrid sensations, tightening your pelvic floor will NOT HELP. You need to LOOSEN and relax. Go on youtube and look up femfusion pelvic exercises. Also START PROBIOTICS ASAP! And get to a doctor that will test more than the routine 4 strands of yeast that never come back positive. I know all this because this is what happened to me after antibiotics. Cut out sugar, starches, greasy foods. GO GREEN. Look up how to re-establish your gut health. Of course, confirm that this is actually yeast. If it is, keep in touch and I will help to give you other tips that helped me.

They have that's why I think they are starting not to believe me. However, they did find blood in my urine but I think that was lupus related.

Just an update in case anyone is experiencing the same problems as me. I decided to start my diet all over again. Seems like I can eat everything. I took a vitamin C pill the day before I went to Fiest Texas because I knew my friend wanted to go into the pool and I always get sick when I enter the pool. (No joke every single time from when I was a child to now I have always come out of that pool with a fever.) When I took this pill all hell broke loose. It was just so bad I couldn't even move.
I should also add that I suspect a birth control pill did this to me. But this is pure speculation. I'm in nursing school and me and this girl were talking about birth control pills she was having the some of the same issues I had. And it was the same brand. She had been on it for 2 years but I just started back in June. I think maybe a combination of this and the Amoxicillin did something. It's pure speculation and I doubt my doctor going to believe me.
