I believe even nonalcoholic beer has a smig of alcohol in it. You're going to do whatever you're going to do but wheat is not your friend with CP. I personally wouldn't recommend it. High fat or carb items will trigger an episode.

I've read a few studies about alcohol and pancreatitis. There has been no definitive answer as to whether it's safe or not. You pretty much have to try to find out. I personally wouldn't want to test that theory.

I do spend time at my local bar, but I always bring a thermos of coffee or tea. I also bring kombucha sometimes. Occasionally, I ask the bartender to make me a fruity non-alcoholic drink. They all know I don't drink, so I haven't been told that outside beverages are not allowed.

    Maybe try that?
