Common anxiety symptoms?

Seems like my anxiety shifted from dealing with them randomly at night to now early in the morning as soon as I wake up. The symptoms I go through is feeling detached, feel like I'm not getting enough air into my lungs that makes me start panicking, I feel weak and tired, numb feet and arms, feel like I have no energy to do anything exciting, I'll get upset easily and not sure why, I'm always constantly worried about my health, even though my doctor had told me my blood test results were very good and nothing serious at all, but I still feel like I might have something, since the way I will feel sometimes. It just sucks, going through this constantly and I just want to live a normal life again like I used to. before I experienced anxiety for the first time. I'm slowly getting help by talking to a therapist, there is still work in progress. They did recommend me before some pills. but I refuse on taking them, I rather for it to naturally go away on it's own and learn how to overcome it, when I do experience really bad symptoms on my own. Are these very common symptoms?

yes your symptoms are extremely common with anxiety. They are not harmful but I know how scary it can feel.

please don’t do what I did which was to waste many years worrying about my health when nothing actually was wrong. I can’t get back one single day of those years.

when your doctor tells you everything goes OK then it’s time to take a deep breath and enjoy your life.

Sometimes medication helps and other times it doesn’t. Everybody is different. with anxiety the most important thing is our thoughts. It’s not the sensations that you feel because they are only the result of our thoughts. When we worry, that is sending a signal to our brain that something is wrong and then you get the sensations. Even though there’s nothing wrong you were still telling your brain that there is. Work on this with your therapist.

when I was in my 20s in the middle I thought the same thing as you that something was wrong because I had those sensations. I’m now in my 60s and perfectly healthy. I just wanted to share that with you so you don’t worry so much. I’ve had the numbness and tingling, the weakness, The detached feeling and the feeling of not getting enough air in my lungs. I’ve had these many times over the years. Finally learned how to control it by changing my thinking and learning some breathing techniques for anxiety that you can find on YouTube. there are so many great relaxing meditations for anxiety on YouTube! Keep yourself busy and every day tell yourself what you are grateful for. Keep going and talking to the therapist. You’re going to be OK!
