Morning! I had that too, it was worse if I put off getting up and on with life. This feeling will fade and getting up and on with your normal routine will help.

    Are you working?

Hi Yorkshire am going back to work 2morrow and am bit anxious cos I do a lot of travelling. My boss has been great cos he said he pick me up all this week! Just hate this morning feeling and making me anxious! Wish these drugs would just kick in straight away lol

That's lovely of your boss! You'll be fine - remember how bad you were last week and how much better you feel now already!

Getting up and to work will make you feel better as you'll be up and out with distraction :-)

    Hi Kevin

Sorry it's a struggle for you. I am not sure about breaking the tablet in half and in effect taking it twice for the day. Just a suggestion-why not try taking it mornings all in one go?

Thank you godblessed so you think I should take the whole tablet

Hi Kevin..I would not be so sure about taking a half twice a day unless your doctor had specifically told u to do this.  I'd imagine there's a reason for taking the 50mg at one time  as regards the way it gets into your system & starts working etc.  I know sometimes when people are weaning off it they break tablets but that's totally different. However I'm not a doctor that's just my own opinion confused.  But the fact is sertraline doesn't actually come in 25mg & if this was a regularly recommended dose I presume it would be made in 25's as well & docs would prescribe 25mg twice a day. Can you phone your doctor & check it out because u need to b taking them in the way that gives you the optimum benefit?
