Common with gallbladder pain

yes I know I didn't eat smart today. so here I am sitting with a abdominal sharp cramp that comes and goes. I feel it in the mid right abdominal and sometimes the left side of my abdominal. I also have acid reflux issues and gas issues and gallstones. but acid reflux and gas I don't think can cause right side abdominal pain. so that leaves me with my gallstones. I had a ultrasound and blood work done last week to check for infection or inflammed. And everything is clear ! Also does anyone know of a good OTC to take for this kind of cramping ?

When did you have your gallbladder removed ? You mention having gallstones, so unsure if you are awaiting surgery. I had an open cholecystectomy.

Surgeon told me to continue pain relief....paracetamol and ibruprofen.

Would welcome hearing from anyone who has had the open surgery.

      Hi Brandon,

No paracetamol isn't tyelenol. Do you live in the Usa? will you be having key hole or open?

Hi Brandon you will be just fine they pump you up with a certain gas to inflate the stomach so they can see what they are doing ! the gas will leave the body a little when they close the opening but you will still be left with some that sometimes can be painful it will soon go keep walking about ! LOL ! HOPE ALL GOES WELL
