I'm waiting on ct results...I had l4/5 fusion 14 years ago, had chronic pain ever since but about 6 months ago I suddenly was unable to stand/walk/sit, I was sent for an X-ray were they told me it looked like the screws were loose and the fusion had never took, it has settled down after 5 months but my back is so weak and I'm in a lot of pain like nipping when I try and walk or stand, I feel like my lower back is going to come away from me, not nice, are you having any symptoms? 😊

I forgot to mention when my walking became a problem I had severe burning pain bilateral in my legs from the knees down, my feet felt like they where in acid,  I have never experienced this before, as I mentioned it took 5 months to settle but I honestly thought I'd be like this the rest of my life, I am trying not to do to much incase I set it off again, not sure how long I'll have to wait before they fix the problem

My first lumber laminectomy went terribly wrong.I had a severe c s f leak that was left unattended for a week before an emergency operation to repair it was carried out. I then got a massive infection. I have since had received done with bigger screws and lumbar cages inserted. First option through my left side (not very successful) then another through my back.it has affected my bladder.I have neurogenic bladder and and have to self catheterisation. And now I am told there is lots of strain on the top screw and the bottom one loosening. I am at the end of the road with it
