Hi, I'm going to try this again. I posted in the wrong group a few minutes ago. I have lupus and ITP (platelet disorder) along with a host of other issues. I'm tired of doctors dismissing me.

It's not personal, my advice would be to pay for a specialist that you think is most suited to help.
Autoimmunity is extremely widespread and accounts for a high proportion in modern diseases/conditions - much more than gps/mds realise/recognise.
Functional medicine and naturopathic practitioners are more likely to get to the root cause. ..a good one will do a range of tests - blood, skin, feacAl, and possibly genes.
Do lots of online , well ballance, varied research before deciding who you think wold be best able to help you.
And keep positive 😊

I see 7 specialist now for the various health issues I have and I do my research. What's on paper is not necessarily what you get in person. That's why I have BC/BS so I can pick my own doctors. Some of them are good but if you stay too long, they get comfortible and then it's time for new eyes to view your problems who may have new ideas for treatment.
