Has anyone used compression gloves, socks or joint sleeves? Do they help? the pain and swelling in my hands, feet, ankles and knees it at it's worse when i first get up. I find it difficult to shower and get my kids up and ready for school in the morning. I am thinking of wearing compression socks, gloves and knees sleeves overnight.

Hi there. I wear compression gloves every night, even on holiday ! I was given them by my Occupational Therapy Department. I have worn them for two years now and they are amazing. They really do help with pain and inflammation. Mine are open fingers, and fit snuggly. Perhaps you could ask your RA nurse about getting some. They will make a difference I'm sure. Good Luck.

I wore the compression gloves, socks and knee sleeves last night. They may have made some difference to my knees and ankles but not my hands. Problem was, I didn't have the strength or dexterity to remove the damn things in the morning!
