I've got thigh high compression hose. the are pretty tight 30-40 but I found a medical supply company in my town that some that have these little dots in the top 1" to 1 1/2" they feel like silicon and they are on the inside that touches your skin, this holds them up and they don't slide down. It's bad enough we have to wear them and really irritating when they slide down. Hope that helps.

      Hi there

The NHS ones dont stay up.  I posted about this the other day for you with a link to where I purchased my suspender but I guess because of the link it was not posted, it went to a moderator.  Anyway, the stockings roll down and get very tight and painful plus you need to be forever pulling them up.  The suspenders are available on the NHS but I bought mine from a company called Daylong.  If you google compression hose suspender you should find them.  Not very attractive but they do the job.

I had it a year ago, was in Stoke Mandeville for two weeks but they washed away with an angiojet and had a stent put in.  The anjiojet washed it almost totally away and what was left was gone at my 3 month ultrasound.   I was luckly and it was actually down to a student nurse who suggested it.

Hi I bought my suspenbder from boots. Vrery unattracticve but it works. The best thing I hasve found to use in situations that you wasnt to be as comfy as poss and out and about is a water based adhesive called StayPut. I can send you the link if you like. I buy it from a reputable shop on ebay. It's great and keeps up the stockings for a few hours or so at a time. When it comes a bit loose, you just add a bit and you are good to go. Let me know if you want more info.x

how are you? Did you go to docs? Once you get the stocking, go on youtube and look for video of how to put it on using a plastic bag. Not sure, but think some of them might come with some sort of device for putting them on
