Compression stockings

Hi fellow hippies. I've now been listed for my op hopefully with 4 months. I live on my own and wondered if anyone has used any aid to get these things on and off ( I'll have a no bending rule for 10 weeks according to the info sheets the hospital gave me ).I'll have to wear them for 6 weeks.
Thx for any replies.

The only aid I could find that was any use on compression stockings was my son, who is 6ft 4ins and very strong!
My wife could not do them for me, and we couldn't get the 'plastic bag trick' to work.

Thx lol. do you do "rentason" lol. I've a 6 ft 4 son in law but he lives near Liverpool and I'm abt 60 miles away lol. I managed them ok when I had my gall bladder out but I could bend then 😃
