Concern for ALS

Posted , 1 user is following.

quick story.

starting later 2016 left arm and leg felt heavier and fatigued more quickly.

SPRING 2017 developed a fine jaw tremor when sipping coffee or putting teeth close together, left leg had a pulling sensation in my thigh. had an EMG came back clean and was scheduled for follow up.

SUMMER 2017

nothing changed and had follow up EMG that came back clean

SUMMER 2018- symptoms persisted, right had has clinical weakness in extensor muscles, EMG was clean.

NOVEMBER 2018- had intense fasiculations in left thigh and calf, non stop 24-7. EMG WITH DIFFERENT neurologist. found nothing not even fasciculations which concerned me about the validity of the test.

SPRING TO CURRENT-

very slight limp in left hip, fasciculations have increased to abdomen.

should I be concerned that I one of the rare situations to where the fasciculations are initial symptom before clinical weakness?

should I push for a new EMG with my original neurologist that is a neuromuscular specialist?
