Concerned about eye prescription change

Hi there, I am turning 24 this year. My most recent eye prescription check was about May 2019. A few days back I went to get new glasses as I realised that my left eye was not seeing clearly if I covered my right eye. However, my right eye's vision was still perfect in my glasses or contact lenses.

I am shortsighted and wearing -3.50 on the left and -3.75 on the right for my contact lenses. This is a much older prescription.

For my old glasses from 2019, I think the left was -3.75 and the right -4.00. The new prescription I received was -4.75 on the left and no change for the right at -4.00.

The right eye has always been slightly higher than the left but within a little less than 2 years, my left eye has went up by a whole -1.00, I am worried and wondering if this is a normal change since the right eye has maintained its vision from 2019.

Hope to get some professional feedback or explanation. Thank you all!
