confused

As you know i have not been diagnosed yet but drs have mentioned fibro. Now waiting on blood tests and go back next thursday.

The reason for the confusion is i expetienced a strange day last week and wondered if anyone can help.

I was feeling a little off colour so decided to have a bath, i had to reduce temp of water as it was burning my hands and feet which i thought was strange.....anyway when i got out and dried myself then got dressed, less than an hour later i was experiencing what felt like sunburn on the back of my neck and the clothes were rubbing against it. Also my scalp felt very sensitive, i did wash my hair too.

I also couldnt put my hands around a hot drink but then later while trying to peel a carrot from the fridge, it felt way colder than it probably was.

That day was wrird for me as apart from the above i felt a little dizzy and was tired out making a pie.

Doez this make sense to anyone because it doesnt to me.

Please help

It does make sense, don't worry it's all part of the fibro. The symptoms are very odd, they are different for everybody but there ar trigger points the doctor can test to make sure it is fibro. There are no blood tests can be done but your bloods need checking anyway to rule things out and make sure you have no deficiencies.

Good luck with the doctors, try to get a referral to a rheumatologist if you can.

Oh thank you thought i was going mad. My symptoms seems to have calmed down to nearly nothing today except aches on bottom of my feet and back aching.

It certainly is weird to have a really strange day then next to nothing the next.

Have written down all my symptoms to show dr on Thursday.

      Hugs ☺

You will probably spend a lot of time thinking you're going mad I know I do lol.mtry to take each day as it comes, they could well be different each day or even change throughout the day. Try to accept it is an odd condition and life will be easier.

Gentle hugs, stay sane, well as near as you wish lol

It is a really weird condition, it is strange how all your senses, especially sense of touch are heightened and changed. All this on top of aching parts of the body, make life a challenge. Fatigue seems to be a large part of it, so we have to learn to pace ouselves. Good luck with the blood tests and I hope the doctors give you all the support you need.

We are all here to support each other. ☺️Meg

Hi Princesswinnie; yes ALL of the above are symptoms of the dreaded Fibro....I have experienced all of the above...actually the words of "feeling like sunburn", is the way I describe my muscle pain...........It does feel like having a severe dose of Sunburn, but Under the Skin...this was the case in November, when we here in Australia, had a Very hot month....and I actually found that the Air-conditioning actually made the Sunburn pain worse...it's the same if I go into a Shopping Centre...just can't stand the pain...and I know a Lot of people on this forum are against meds, but I just had to increase my Amitriptylline...it's the only thing that helps me....and I know I'm Not a wuss....have put up with a lot of pain and emotional upsets, but when that "sunburn" hits, that is something that I cannot take.....yes, I also agree that Mindfullness (CBT) does help, but also there are some things that we just cannot take....hoping this helps your concerns, as you are not alone....many of us have many different pain issues (confusing pain/probs), but do know what you are saying.............cheers...........Bron
