I had an b c abscess I thought I got an injury sitting accidently on a hairspray lid. In the end I could barly walk or sit.
I went to a&e for my little one was in hospital. I have to say the junior doctor was ok then she called her registrar both gyny. The reg was horrible he poked and squeezed. He said its not an abscess I would be in more pain.i was given anti biottics if it hadn't gone in a week go to gp.
I was so swollen I couldn't see anything down there. I had no idea what this was until it burst. I was in hospital with my son still and it felt like I had messed myself, the was loads comming out. Iwent back to a&e.
There I refused to see the registrar I saw previous. This one told me it was a Bc abcessand its draining which is good. That was it.
I had a gyny appointment later about a month he looked and said it is bcyst and the sore bath was were the abscess was.
What I don't understand is the swelling around the area near perineum. Is this still an infection in the gland. I can see what I thi k is the cyst. Its only like a pea if that, and where the abscess was. It is sore 3 months on.
I have had anti biotic as of this again.
I just don't know weather this is right can someone advise please.

Each time i had an occurance and it drained, it would eventually go all the way down before it would reappear. There is every chance you are having a reoccurance. Have you tried hot baths with salt? It might help it drain again.
I have had a BC for 9 years.. After 18 months it finally went away on its own and then suddenly, 2 months ago, it reappeared after 7 years, it came back. I had to have a marsipulization on it. I am now almost 2 months post surgery and it's gone.

I have started serrapetase hoping it would help but its only early days and its upsetting my stomachs. I apologise for spelling its as I'm on smart phone and I'm not that smart using it lol!
Was your surgery very painful? I hope it works for you.

Surgery wasn't painful. I was put completely under. I was a little tender for a week and only needed a week off work & I was able to go back to my normal routine. The stitches are disolvable and are all starting to dissolve now. The only thing I was told not to do until I was completely ready was have sex.. So my boyfriend and I waited until a month after my surgery.
Try sea salt hot baths. It'll help move everything to the surface and soften it all up to hopefully drain.
