Confused about negative HSV-2 test result. Help?

I got tested for HSV-2 on Monday. It was a blood test. I received my results back today and the initial interpretation was "above normal high" 2.35, but when I got they performed the supplemental test, the result was negative. I feel like this is a false negative possibly because of the initial 2.35 I received and I have an outbreak on the head of my penis. Has something like this happened to anyone else? Honestly this has been stressing me out for a while and I just want some type of relief.image
