Confused about what this may be

So I had sex with a new partner about 5 days ago, we used a condom and he did say he was totally clean (though I know this can be spread without there being any lesions and most people don't even know they have it)

This morning I woke up and the bottom of my labia right next to the opening to my vagina was a bit swollen. I have been looking at really closely and I can just see about two kinda circular open spots on it. I have HSV1 and I know what it feels like before I get a cold sore (gets all tingly and feels like I have a fat lip then I can see the clusters). I haven't felt anything like this at all. It aches a little bit but I have also been messing with it and staring at and having to stretch the skin to see what it looks like. It doesn't itch and feels more like raw skin if I touch it pain-wise.

The only other thing I was thinking is the day before this happened I was wearing underwear that was super irritating on that area for hours and there was heat so maybe it was just irritated. I feel like I'm grasping at straws and the circular lesions are freaking me out. I can't go get it swabbed in the 24-48 window and I am panicking about having to wait 12 weeks to find out if I have something.

It doesn't seem to match what I see on the internet, since it is just a bit red in that area but I know herpes can be different on everyone. What do you guys think?

The more I read the more worried I get. My first outbreak of HSV1 was bad enough to put me in the hospital, so it seems like that it very possible a first outbreak of HSV2 would be very minor for me.

Well if you already have hsv type 1 orally, you arent likley to contract it in the genital area since you already have anti bodies against it. Unless its type 2 but even then because you have anti bodies against type 1 it may not be...as far as i know as long as you have the lesion there even if its 3 days later the swab will let you know just make an appointment asap. At your local PPH?

No , you can still get genital herpes if you have hsv 1 orally ..

That doesn't immune from that .

If you have type 2 , you are immune from type one after 4+ months

I know its still possible to get type 1 genitally even if you have type 1 orally, but your chances are REDUCED. Im not saying you are completley immune, of course it is still possible.

Your body has created anti bodies against the virus over time, to offer some type of defense. BUT you do realize there are people who have BOTH type 1 and type 2 BOTH gentially right?

It's a lot of people that I have type one and two . Yes you can get that ..

If you have type one orally that doesn't immune from genital herpes hsv 2 ...

Just a little known fact .

I mean it happens to a lot of people .

I have type two genitally and my doctor told me after 4 plus months its almost impossible to catch hsv orally

I never said having type 1 orally prevents you from getting type 2 genitally. I am aware of that all i simply stated was having type 1 orally CAN provide SOME type of immunity if you are exposed to the virus, that is type 1, in your genital area.

The fact that your skin is peeling after the lesions and discharge and all that , it defintely does sound like herpes on the genital area .

You should definitely get a swab and get it checked out ..

Peeling? I mean I didn't notice any blisters I just saw open area on my skin and I guess it was wet but in the way that if you scrape your knee it's wet. Today I can't even see open skin really, so I'm going to try to go tomorrow to a clinic to have it looked at but there's nothing to even get a sample from because there's not really any open skin anymore.

I have pictures of the first day vs today I'm just not sure how to load them. It's hard because of the positioning the only way I can look at it is by taking a picture and then zooming in

Well given that you have hsv 1 orally im sure you knos exactly what blisters look like. If you havent gotten any blisters, maybe it was just the irritation from your underwear as you said. Go get your self swabbed if possible asap.

Well I went and got it looked at and the NP didn't even bother doing a swap, she said it looked like small cuts from an abrasion and didn't look like herpes at all. She did say that if more areas showed up or I was having other symptoms I could definitely come back but she wasn't concerned
