Hi everyone hope you all well. Just wondering I've felt off for a few weeks now it started with my ear which I can only explain it makes me feel woozy off balance I feel like I get a flush in my stomach which in turn makes me feel anxious and then I feel not that I'm going to pass out just a strange feeling anyone relate to this. Sometimes when I walk in the shops I feel like I've been on the drink lol then I get more anxious thinking something is going to happen. I do have atrial fribullation but under control so I know it's not that. At the moment I'm on antibiotics for my ear so don't know if it's a combination of my Dixogin I'm taking as well as antibiotics. Also I'm mid fifty not had a period for 11 year so am I through menopause would I still experience menopause symptoms my doc reckons so. Many thanks

This happened to me also, very strang feeling, i was so nervous to be home alone or go anywhere in public alone, feeling off balance I just can't explain how strang that is. Your not alone I've experienced it for 3 months, it cones and goes , my mom also had it when she started Premanpause.

Hi Glitzy! The drunk, off balance you're feeling are your hormone fluctuations. When they use the term "raging hormones" or "the roller coaster ride of your like" in

menopausal articles that's what they mean. It's the MOST uncomfortable symptom ever!! I hate this one the most. It takes away your quality of life to go out for walks, beach, shopping, parties, etc.

It does get better then comes back again. The average length of these symptoms can be 10 years, + or - a few.

I'm the same age as you, no periods for 8 years and can't wait until this is over. Seems like forever. smile

Thank you Jamie I do feel a bit better today it certainly sounds reassuring when someone else can relate to the same symptoms. But your right it does take away a lot of your quality of life. 😄 Xx

That does not to me sound like a menopausal symptom, though they can occur even after 11 years. With a bad ear your balance is likely off, And dizziness comes with disruptions in ear equilibrium . I suspect your ear problem getting cleared up will help.Love Stella42

      Awww Glitzy,

I know those feelings all to well. Its real hard to believe it's hormones. I have so many weird feelings and sensations that it's getting harder and harder to keep the panic down. When I'm not feeling crazy, I'm thinking crazy. I get up and and think what's going to be wrong today. The dizzy/off balance feeling is horrible. I have the off balance feeling today like I'm stepping off an elevator. So damn nerve wrecking.

Thanks Jamie I'm feeling a bit better now I'm like you I lie in bed on a morning thinking what's going to happen today I wish I was a strong willed person but I'm not. I hate the swimmy head the off balance feeling it just knocks you for six.
