confused ( please help!!)

so ive been having a burning throat since on & off around summer time, i do want to mention that i had mono in feb and it was the worst ever i still dont feel like myself from it, im not sure if its from that or something else, i have this weird sour taste around my mouth and my throat burns a lot, i have tried a bunch of stuff for acid as well and i have tried allergy pills nothing really seems to work, i did go to the ent & he did prescribe to try omeprazole twice a day idk if that will work. im just very scared and tired of it, i just know ever since mono started for me i havent been the same. if anyone of you have the same symptoms please share them! thanks!!!
