Constant Aching Legs

I have suffered leg pain in both of them on and off for the last 10 years but in recent months it's more persistent and doesn't seem to let up much. I just don't understand why I am getting these symptoms, it's as if I have just come back from a marathon or like I've got a severe case of the flu or something.

They hurt all the time and seems worse at night when I am wanting to go to sleep. I have been to the doctors several times and been prescribed tablets for RLS and pain killers but these don't always work. I feel my life is over because its absolutely debilitating at times and depressing.

Is there anyone out there that suffers from something similar, what can I do?

Certainly not a doctor here -

Just wondering if you had a neurologist examine you? Possible low back issue?

Certainly, there's a reason your legs are bothering you to that degree.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I had a doctors appointment today and Dr said that I might be referred to a neurologist after examining my legs, they could see something was wrong because to them my legs seem to be over sensitive and they kinda twitch at times which kinda points to something neurological.

They also gave me a prescription to help with nerves and said to see how that goes for the time being.

It doesn't appear to the Dr that its anything to do with my back since I have the problem in both legs, apparently you would only get a problem down one side normally.

So I will see how it goes with the new tablets and hopefully I will get a appointment later on with the neurologist and see what say.
