Constant back ache :(

Hi guys.... I've been having horrendous back ache and it radiates down my legs. I'm at the gyni next Monday and was just wondering if this is a sign of a ruptured cyst or twisted, or if this is the normal type of pain . I've also been losing Gros discharge 27 days out of 45 sad pretty fed up and I'm taking codeine . Any advice is welcome xxx

I had back ache and a pain in my right leg before my cyst was removed. I didn't have discharge though. My cyst was pretty large at 30cm though.

It hadn't ruptured. I know I was told by the hospital if I had sharp, severe pain I was told I should head to a&e though. The one time I did in it was my stomach muscles that had gone.

Sorry I can't be of more help

I didn't really notice any symptoms other than a growing bloated belly at first and I thought it was a mix of IBS and putting on weight. I actually reckon that it started around December. I went doctor in Jan regarding some bleeding and was told to keep an eye on it, it went away and I didn't go back the doctor until April and I think she thought I was pregnant and sent me for an emergency ultrasound scan which showed a 22cm complex cyst on my right ovary.

Even then I wasn't suffering any real pains those only seemed to come as it grew even bigger squishing my liver and kidney. I was getting back pains, leg pains and was definitely was peeing more that's for sure. I'm on the pill so I don't know if that helped me with any pain somehow. I'm two weeks post op and I don't actually feel so bad the moment. I suppose it depends where it's sitting. I think mine grew and must have hit a nerve.

They can grow at different rates and speeds I was told. I know mine had a huge growth spurt in April, I'm quite slim and I looked at least 6 months pregnant.

I'm a size 8-10 and it started as a little pot belly that just kept getting bigger. I'm only a tiny bit swollen now and my stomach is so much flatter. Had to have a vertical laparotomy and the ovary and tube removed though but I'm doing well just worry about the scar.

I was in pain January but put it down to a bout of flu and messed up hormones. I feel really sorry for you though, I keep seeing people put how much pain they are in but I genuinely didn't get any pains until it got bigger.

Look after yourself, will keep my fingers crossed you get some answers. Got my results next week too xxx
