Constant Dizziness (diagnosed with BPV)

Okay, so i have been struggling wtih dizziness and nausea for over a month now and it wont seem too go away, i have been too the doctor about it a few times now, received a MRI on my neck and head and had blood tests which all came back completely fine, Doctor then performed a few tests and diagnosed me with BPV (Positional Vertigo) and then instructed me too perform the epley maneuver too try and fix it and prescribed me pills (Prochlorperazine) which help with vertigo symptons which absolutely did not work. All the pills did were make me tired , and of course the Maneuver didnt seem to help much either. it seems to get really worse when I'm in the gym working out or walking up a hill or when i have my earphones plugged in listening too music or when my heart starts racing from stress or my anxiety, a few times now after going the gym i got really bad nausea right after, my heart starts racing and my arms go all numb and tingling and then im out of work for days on end as i can't help the nausea. My question really is does the sound like BPV or could it be another underlying problem? E.g. heart problem etc.. the doctor was lost and just told me it could be caused by my stress as i recently just started taking over my dads job which has stressed me out completely other the past month. its really agitating not being able too do things i normally did on a daily basis and it's start too take its toll on me, really need help or suggestions.

I realize the same thing happens during the winter season due to cold weather.

I don't have any digestion issues or anything, it came on from no where, i went about my usual day went to the gym etc... i went for a lay down and i was watching videos on my phone then as soon as i stood up, sever dizziness hit me and i was vomitting for the rest of the day, its its just been getting progressively worse, i dont even have too be doing something for it to come on.

for me these symptoms started when i run into gastriris, non working gallbladder and finally gallstones. If you dont have these issues, thats good atleast you have ruled out its not to do with the digestion.

next thing will be MRI for head and Neck to rule of major issues.

VNG test to see if vestibular is impacted. if impacted, you might need physcial therapy execercises.

And make sure to test your B12 with methamelonic acid levels to rule out b12 dificencny.

better to do a ultrasound and hida scan to make sure you dont have any gallbladder issues.

Sorry youre not feeling well. Ive had vestibular neuritis for a year now. Maybe you could have something similar? Also anxiety is a symptom along with dizziness and nausea.

Could be Vestibular neuritis, i just did some quick research and i have alot of the symptoms associated with it, i have trouble focusing my eyes especially when reading, sometimes it gets really uncomfortable to stare at my phone while scrolling and it makes me sick, my left ear rings like crazy at night and i have the urge too lean to one side when im sitting or walking like somethings drawing me too the left side, i also went too my chiro a few months back and he said i have a imbalance as my right side of my body is more dominate then the left. i have also been dealing with stress this past month and i get really bad anxiety in public places. if you dont mind me asking what helps you with your vestibular neuritis? i have tried a few medications but nothing that works usually i just go and lay in bed for hours on end as it helps with the nausea. sorry for the long reply.

I was just reading through your post and a lot of what your describe does sound like bppv, expect the numbness? The sudden onset with head movements, the dizziness, nausea, anxiety all fit.  Vertigo will cause you to feel completely out of control which will bring on anxiety of all kinds.  When your doctor originally diagnosed you with bppv did they do a maneuver to bring it on? Just curious what methods they used to confirm it. The numbness is what's got me confused and not so sure if it ist bppv and something else or not it at all. Have you followed up with any specialist? ENT, neurologist ...?

Yes Ann, the doctor made me do the epley maneuver whilst making focus on a moving object, which got me extremely dizzy, i have been performing the epley maneuver for a week or so now once a day right before i go too bed but it doesn't seem too help.
