Constant gas, bloating, indigestion and nasty bowel movements

HI, I've never posted on this site before but im really wanting to connect with anyone going through the same thing. I've always had issues with my bowel movement's, at one point I was lucky to go once a week! Since having my children they've become more regular but have always been on the softer side (sorry tmi). Well recently I'd say these past 5 months they have been horrendous. I only go once a day,but when I do go it's like I'm desperate and have to run to the loo. They arent the consistency of water, but boy the arent good! Im also really gassy which is so gross and Im just so bloated I look 6 months pregnant. I feel so uncomfortable and am suffering from absolute exhaustion! I have no idea if the tiredness is related but it seems to have gotten worse these past few weeks. I dont eat dairy, rarely have bread (but do on occasion) and drink usually about 2 litres of water a day. I don't really exercise and am a stay at home mum. I am however a worrier and have bouts of anxiety! I'm getting nervous as my doctor just blames it on my gallstones, I was referred to a specialist but they declined my referral as I have no major symptoms other than the massive gallstones shown in my xray. Oh I should also mention I've been getting a weird sensation to the right of my bellybutton! It's not agony but it does not feel right and has really got my anxiety going, of course I've diagnosed myself with colon cancer!! Sorry for the long write up. Hope to hear from anyone possibly going through something similar. Thanks for reading x

    Hi Nikki

The worst thing you could do is let google diagnose you  I had all these symptoms and anxiety was terrible it was really making me fell worst. I was in the emergency room every other week thinking I was dying every doctor I seen would tell me it's just gastritis. I had some lab work done stool sample and it turns out I had a bacteria in my stomach for god knows how long. hpolorie i was put on antibiotics for two weeks and started eating healthy. In about 30 days I began felling like  myself again. After the course of antibiotics had a endoscopy done all clear. Best of luck to you

Thank you for your reply. Yes I'm literally googling every 5 minutes and am beside myself with worry! I know that doesn't help my stomach. I was thinking of asking my doc to take a stool sample to test for that hpylori? Hopefully it's something less sinister than the big C.

Keep going back to your doctor and insist on a specialist appointment for your gallstones since they are so big.  Also ask about IBS which can cause the symptoms you are having especially the anxiety.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I am going to the doctors this morning and hopefully she takes me seriously! I couldn't believe my referral got denied when the stones are huge. It seems you have to be rolling around in agony for anything to get done.

After botched dental work I was left in a lot of pain but no one could decide from my XRay whether I had an infection or not.  I was given antibiotics and told to wait until the pain got worse before taking them. I told them point blank that I would be taking them straight away.  They weren't very pleased that I was ignoring their ridiculous suggestion.  It just shows you have to fight to get proper service.

it isn't always a good idea to self diagnose with serious illnesses as this will add to your anxiety.  I suggest that you start to exercise to help your bowel movements become more regular and then you will feel better. If you need surgery for your gall stones that may be a good idea but you really need to think hard about your health and do something about it before it is a real problem for you.
