Constant headache with other unexplained symptoms

Hoping someone can offer some advice, as I'm completely fed up.

I'm a 33 y/o female with a history of migraines. I've always been able to control them in the past fairly easily with medication such as relpax. During pregnancy, they were pretty much non existent and post partem, I maybe get one every 6 months.

However, the last few months or so, I've been getting the worst dibilitating headaches around my eyes, made worse with movement. I've been taking OTC meds daily, which only take the edge off. I'm currently into week 2 with the same headache. It has not stopped at any time during the day. I go to bed with it, and wake up with it. Also over the last few months, I have been experiencing fevers; some reaching 104, with no additional symptoms. Last time I saw my Dr, he said tension, which didn't make sense to me with the fever.

Since I've seen my family Dr last, the headaches keep reoccurring and now recently I have had extreme back pain on one side as well as severe tendon pain in shoulder. Took antibiotics for possible kidney infection, and the pain is back again. I can't even function feeling like this, these headaches are going to be the death of me. Help!

My situation is different I was hoping mine was a sinus infection. My head got worse after a few weeks from laughing to coughing and even emptying my bowels. Have you been to opticians? Remember tress can cause all sorts of headaches but if you really are not happy insist on an MRI scan. It's not good that your waking up with a headache you could have some sort of infection. I would be demanding MRI that will put your mind st rest x

I have been to the optician and my pressure has been fine every time. Also, blood pressure is always fine as well.

My health insurance doesn't kick in for another 30 days...hopefully I can hold out until than.

don't mean to worry you, but you need to doublr down on getting medical attention. headache in the presence of fever is a non-specific symptom and means nothing more than you are ill. when your doctor said you had a kidney infection , was there evidence of urinary findings, such as blood and white cells in he urine? did the urine sample come back at 48 hrs with a positive culture? or did they base he whole diagnosis on the back pain? ASK. you did not get better with antibiotics.WHY NOT? ASK.

you have a reason for fever , and that same reason is giving you the headache. get back in there and push for answers!!

When they did the urine culture they found small traces of blood, elevated white count, some protein and that I was dehydrated.

Put me on 10 days of levoflaxin. Back pain and fever went away, but headache has not.

I feel like every month to two months, whatever this is, flares up and then the fevers come. I can get the back pain under control with some heavy pain stuff, but nothing seems to be working for the headaches. My health insurance kicks in in about 30 days. Will make an appointment as soon as it does.

without knowing the specifics, if you have fever at the time you provide a urine sample, dilation of the nephron can lead to leakage of small amounts of red and white blood cells into a urine collection. That is why the URINE CULTURE is important. what did it show? did you actually have an infection? was the bacteria sensitive to the levaquin you received? Again, if you had a simple (not really) kidney infection, got the correct antibiotics, and levoquin is big guns, you should be all better. Just sayin.
