Constant heartburn that won’t let up... please advise!

Hi everyone! Need some advice for my heartburn issue. I’m a 56 year old woman and have never previously had heartburn issues in the past. Not sure if this is related or not, but I had COVID at the end of November, and 1-2 months later, my heartburn kicked in. When I say kicked in, I mean all day every day it’s there. Feels like pressure and a bit of burning? I’d say the pain is about a 3/10 but sometimes when I eat or drink something specific, it flares up to a 6/10. I was taking 40mg of Prilosec prescribed by my gastronoloist and it completely got rid of it a few months ago after 2 weeks, but I stopped it right after I started feeling better. A few weeks later I threw my back out so I was taking ibuprofen like it was my day job. 4 every 4 hours. Since then, it’s come back with a vengeance. I have been taking 40mg of Prilosec again and nothing seems to be getting better. The feeling is about a 3/10 and I’m learning to live with it, but I NEED to find a solution. I can’t live like this. I mean it goes on every day all day with no relief. Does anyone have any suggestions or think they might know what’s going on? Thank you all!
