Constant Leg Twitxhing for 3 Months

Hi there. I've been suffering from muscle twitches for the last 3 months. It all started after I hurt my back. I was suffering from some back pain for a few weeks and then really hurt it one day. Since then the pain has stopped but the leg twitching immediately began. It's mainly in my thighs and I between my legs. But also have felt it in my buttocks, calves and stomach. It affects both legs. It has been driving me crazy. The twitches last anywhere from 2-4 seconds. It's almost a quick fire that I can see but it hops from one part of the leg to the next. I had an EMG about 9 weeks into the twitching but all came back normal. Scheduled for an MRI this week but not knowing what is going on has been driving me crazy. Has anyone had similar symptoms?

This maybe due to Vitamin B deficiency, that can cause nerve tissue impairment causing the electric signal between nerves to jump, causing twitching.

This is infact common in polio patients and survivors.

Not sure you only have leg twitching, but if you have also restless legs, Diabetes, Alcoholism, Iron deficiency and kidney disease are risk facts.
