Constant lump feeling when I swallow
Posted , 4 users are following.
Ive had a problem swalowing for around 5 months now and I feel like something is stuck in my throat or something and when I do swallow I start to feel sick, I won’t go to the doctors as I am scared to death to know my results! I’ve been told By my mum and partner that there is nothing wrong with me but I am scared to death to go in case it is something bad. I have looked up online and it said it could be global sensation but I am not to see 😕 what should I do??

Do you ever get pain when you swallow?
Does food ever get stuck when you swallow?
How old are you?

okay, I hope you are right I get told I’m a hypochondriac all the time because literally any little thing like even a dot or anything on my skin I always think I’m dying 😂😂 but I will take your word for it 😊 , do you know when it’ll go?

If you don't see a doctor and is not diagnosed how will you know what you're dealing with? Sticking our heads in the sand does not make it go away! Please see a doctor.

Even more reason to visit your doctor. Let me know how you get on.
Thanks

HI , I went to see the doctor and she Sao did there is nothing wrong with me and that I’m just over thinking about a lump being there when there really isn’t. She checked my throat and said I had a healthy throat & not to worry about it.

Hi Renee
I feel that doctors don't know how to deal with anything that they can't find medical evidence for. But it is real to you. I strongly suggest going to see a physiotherapist or similar who may be able to identify the muscles probably causing the feeling in your throat. Self management will be key.
Let me know how you get on.
