Constant Nausea At It's Worst

Posted , 4 users are following.

For about 2-3 years now, I've had pretty constant nausea throughout the day, but it's always at its worst at night. I've seen doctors, done an endoscopy and apparently everything came back fine and it was brushed off as "probably ibs or acid reflux." I don't have a problem with believing that because I am sure that I have acid reflux and I've been treating it with the way I eat. As soon as I think I'm doing okay and handling it, I just get so incredibly sick. This is starting to get worse and worse and more persistent to the point where I avoid eating altogether because of how sick any type of food makes me. I track my food every single day so I know that it's not just one thing that's making me sick, I would've caught it by now. I either won't be able to fall asleep because of how nauseous I am or I won't be able to stay asleep. I don't know what to do anymore as I've tried all the medicines I've been offered and I've completely changed my lifestyle, but it just keeps getting worse.

Any help or suggestions on what it might be would be much appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi Karina,

You have to go back to your GP (maybe see someone new if possible) and ask to be investigated thoroughly.

Constant nausea isn’t normal and it’s obviously impacted hugely on your life.

Do you take anti nausea tablets?

Have you had a barium meal?

Do you eat late at night?

Could you have a hiatus hernia

Could you be allergic to something?

    Do you have anxiety?

It is a Doctors job to investigate, diagnose and then treat their patients.

I do hope you’ll go back and get checked out thoroughly.

You need to know why you are constantly nauseous and you need a diagnosis.

Good luck and please let us know how you get on.

    Thank you

    Take care

Constant nausea is the body’s way of telling you there’s something not right. More than often it can be digestion related. Try organic ginger to get rid of the nausea. I get it regularly as well due to my Gastritis
