Constant neck pain and tension headache

I’ve been having these tension headaches bad for the last few days but not doing anything different. I always grind my teeth which leads to headaches but lately it’s been literal neck pain radiating to my head and nothing seems to soothe it. Pain medicine doesn’t work hot or cold packs lying down. I wake up feeling okay but as the day goes by it gets worse and by 5pm I have to go home.

I have exactly the same problem. The only thing that worked for me was Botox For bruxism but I have since found out that it can eat away at your jaw bone and teeth! So I stopped having it done. I have to really concentrate on trying to stop myself grinding my teeth and jaw swinging because I have been doing it since I was a kid.

Do you take any medication? Certain antidepressants and I think PPIs can make it worse. If you are taking anything google the name of the drug and then bruxism and see if there is a link.
