CONSTANT PAIN. Is this normal?

I have now had CONSTANT pain for 5 weeks. I had a scan two weeks ago and my blood filled cyst was 1.8cm. None of the pain killers ease the pain at all. I have pain in my pelvis, groin, thighs, back, side, knee and high in my stomach which is very tight and tender. The pain seems to move around but I always have the cramping pain.  The only time I'm not in pain is when I am asleep. It is unbearable. I have another scan at my gynaecologist in two weeks. Sometimes I wonder if I should be going into the ER or whether this is how the pain is meant to be with cysts. I have read where some people have been in pain for ongoing months, even years. I don't know how anyone could put up with this pain. I've had three kids with no pain relief but this pain brings me to tears everyday. Do you have any advice or a similar story? Thank you
