Constant peeling lips

I honestly could not find a topic similar to what is occuring. I always had an issue with my lips peeling. The skin would usually be soft and not dry like chapped lips. The very inner parts of my lips will never fully heal. Its like my lips are always trying to repair by developing a new layer of skin but it wont heal all the way. Im not dehydrated when i go to the doctors so i cant pin point the issue. So now I have created this bad habit of always chewing on my lips.

1] you eat and drink things that are far too hot possibly, try to let them cool down

2] Are you using a toothpaste with Sodium Lauryl Sulphate as one of the ingredients? if you are then try another brand without this chemical. If your toothpaste doesnt contain SLS then a change of toothpaste anyway may be of help.

Try to stop the habit of chewing your lips. If you find the cause of the peeling but still chew, you have created another problem.

Try using one of the Gengigel products. Mouthwash or gel. They are very good at healing mouth problems.
