Constant shaking hands and recent muscle weakness

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but wanted to ask for some advice and opinions before I see the doctor (again).
So over the last few weeks, I have been experiencing 'anxiety', as the doctors have told me. Initially, i was experiencing shortness of breath, tight chest, palpations, sweaty palms/feet and restlessness. However, as these symptoms have subsided to the point where I rarely experience them, I know have constant shaking hands and my muscles are starting to feel weak.
The best way for me to describe it is this: when I walk, I don't feel 100% stable, as if my legs are a little 'wobbly'; my hands are constantly shaking, from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep. Note, this shaking is quite visible and many people have called me out on it; something I have noticed as recently as today is that when I lift my forearm (imagine bicep curl) and put it back down, on the descent, the muscles in my arm feel weak and shake a little, and my wrist and hand shakes quite a lot.
I am worried as to what this could be as the symptoms only seem to be getting worse, not better. I will be asking for a blood test at the doctors this Friday.
Is anyone else experiencing similar symptoms, or does anyone have any advice they can give me as to what this could be?
P.s: whilst in work the other day, I also noticed that I was having some difficulty in finding words. It was almost as if I could talk fine, but when I would reach certain words I would stumble or pause, even stuttering at one stage.
Kind regards,
Tom.

Hey Tom
I feel the same way. My legs feel weak. All my body seems to be trembling inside. My legs shake and I can see it on the outside.
My hands too. I drink caffeine. So it could also be too much of that. I drink lots of soda. I thought it was low blood sugar, low blood pressure, dehydration. But it can't be it happens every single day. I always wake up feeling weak and shaky. Like I'm about to collapse. I don't understand what it is. I'm 24. My grandma has Parkinson's. Her hands shake alot. We all see it. That's why she is unable to drive. It's dangerous she might have a accident. Anyways I really don't know anything about the subject. It could be many things. I also feel like my body is about to shut down. For example just like when a vehicle is not functioning right it starts to malfunction. I think that's happening to me. My body may be giving out. When I say something it is usually another word I didn't want to say. I can't seem to find the right word. Its brain fog I think. As far as the shaking you have to get that checked out by your Doctor. Good Luck👍 Be cautious if the shaking can interfere with your driving don't drive.

Hi Tom,
Never have I ever responded in forums, but I must say, everything you wrote detailed my life for the last month or so. The manner in which you described your shaking and weakness is spot on to what I have been enduring. I have been to several doctors at this point who quickly state that it is all "just anxiety" and that I really need to learn to manage it better (read: take medication). I know this post is several weeks old, but I was wondering how your appointment went. Did you learn anything new or were you able to be reassured that like me, it's just anxiety?
I have yet to convince myself of this truth, so if you have anything new to add to the discussion, I'd love to hear it!
Emily
