Constant sharp/stinging penis pain

I've been having horrible pain all around the head of my penis. This has been going on for over 3 months now and I lay back in a chair all day completely miserable. When it first started, i was at work and sat down really hard onto a metal stool and got a shooting pain to the head of my penis. I've been to multiple urologists, seen my family doctor a hand full of times, and have been to the e.r. multiple times. I've tried 3 weeks of antibiotics for possible prostatitis, which didn't help at all, I've also tried low doses of gabapentin and lyrica which neither have helped at all. Have also tried prednisone and didn't get any relief from that. I've currently been doing pelvic floor physical therapy for over 3 weeks now and haven't had any improvement at all. For more than a month now it has been constantly sticky all around my penis, from just below the glans to near the base, and it makes the pain so much worse. Even after taking a shower, within half an hour the stickiness comes right back. I rarely get erections anymore, and when i do it hurts really bad and the skin gets pulled really tight, my erections are shorter now also. anytime i walk or move, all around the glans/corona rubs on my underwear and it's a horrible knife-like/stinging pain. I'm in constant misery and I don't know what else to do anymore, I feel like nobody can help me at this point and constantly think about ending my life or chopping my penis off, I just can't stand the constant misery anymore. Somebody please help me, I don't know what to do anymore and I'm hanging on to the last thread of my rope.

Have have a great deal to contend with here and I can empathise that this has really got you down to the point that you are feeling now.
Have the Urologists agreed that this has stemmed from the way in which you say down and had the warning sign of the shooting pain, or have they suggested there could be something else going on - or, perhaps they have been unwilling to specify exactly what is happening?
From my own experience I caused a trauma to the tubes from my scrotum to my penis and this literally took months for even the felling of pain to reduce - each time I engaged in sexual activity the pain worsened.
What some people are not aware of is that you can actually fracture your penis and I wonder if any of the urologists have suggested this is what you may have done?
What I would try to focus on is making the most of the physical therapies you have already started on - the other I would suggest you look at is working on your core muscles, even yoga and pilates can be very beneficial, not least of all in that they take your focus away from what is going on in your genital region.
Also, simply trying to get the most out of something like enjoying a relaxing shower or a therapeutic soak in the bath, experiment with different shower gels and water additives for relaxing in the bath. many women are naturally good at 'setting the all round atmosphere' to really enjoy bath time - we can learn a lot from what they do.
Even something as simple as a massage oil used correctly, or liquid coconut oil can help create a much more relaxing or enjoyable experience.
Simply, it may take you way in excess of a year for the sensations you are feeling now to fade away - it is making that time as positive an experience as possible to help you with your journey moving forward from where you are now .....

the urologists are clueless at this point. one suspected prostatitis which i took antibiotics for 3 weeks and didn't get any relief at all. Now I'm seeing a third urologist who scheduled a cystoscopy in a few weeks, which idk why because I'm not having any problems with urination. i mean i get burning sometimes and I dribble alot when I'm done urinating, but I don't think it has to do anything with my urethra or bladder. i really suspect it's a nerve issue and alot of inflammation going on, but nothing I've tried helps at all I can't get any relief ever. When i tell them when this started and how it all started they don't believe that it would cause this, I've even had a urologist tell me it's all in my head and that the dorsal nerves start on the top of the penis, but when i look it up they start underneath and branch off from the pudendal nerve. The physical therapist I'm going to said that i have pudendal neuralgia, and i honestly think i damaged or compressed that nerve when i sat down on the metal stool so hard. i just don't know what else to do, to try, or where to go to.

So, the rationalisation and arguments you have outlined here against what you have been told by the urologists you have seen already are, ideally, discussions that you need to be having with them.
Yes, I can see that you have this really difficult situation and, no doubt it is really difficult for you to get round the fundamental - you have gone to see this urologist and explained what has happened and they are not being particularly helpful to you - or simply, telling you stuff you do not particularly believe to be the case.
Unfortunately, Urologists when they are training get to learn about the most detailed factual information on the workings of male genitalia, the things that can go wrong, and typically do go wrong - such as what happens when an injury occurs. They read about many actual cases and see at first-hand many others who they have contact with as their training progresses. Ultimately, they are professionals who are regulated and sanctioned by professional medical associations, otherwise, they cannot practice.
What you need is a urologist that can take on-board what it is your saying, to explain to you so that you understand, and, more relevantly, will work with you in an ongoing basis to resolve the situation that you have.
Often this means in practical terms picking one of the urologists you have already consulted with and going back to them and set-up a more productive dialogue to find a way to sort this situation you have. Otherwise, it could be a process of trying new urologists until you find one you think you can work with in a far more productive manner, that is, they take on-board what you have to say, explain clearly to you what has taken place, and find ways there are of actually resolving what you have, so you can move forward.
And yes, you are looking at and doing alternative remedies, and it is always worthwhile to try different things too such as this - you may, when it comes down to it, need to get the help of a range of different people, including, finding a urologist that you can work with in an ongoing, productive manner ......

Sounds very similar to my issue, but mine was caused by pulling down too hard when masturbating. This was almost 2 years ago now. At first it didn't hurt much, but now it's constant pain, stinging, tearing pain inside my penis around the head. It seems the foreskin or mucous membrane are damaged in some way under the skin. This also has brought me to the edge of despair and I don't know how to go on with my life. I just keep going... in misery... You're not alone
Got ultrasound scan booked for 30th April following many inconclusive urologist visits. I'm not hopeful
