constant sinus infections

Hi I got my first sinus infection 2010 I was in agony and could not stand the pain in my face got given a mix icily Ian and it cleared then they kept coming back some have been worse then others I'm now on my like 50th infection after I had the flu my ears started to feel funny and they still do this was about 3 weeks ago I have a headache and ear ache for 3 weeks and green mucus from back of my nose running down my throat also the mucus is not that bad I have not taken anything for it but it's not clearing up and my head pain is now becoming unbearable can anybody recommend anything for me I'm 22 these started when I was 18 and I have not thought nothing of it until now when I realise half the year I have a sinus infection

    I Take it you are in UK, so if that is the case, go to your GP for Antibiotics. I have sinus problems due to my Ryhinitis, one side of my face is uncomfortable and the mucous coming from the right nostril is not clear. I am taking myself to the Dr as there is some minor infection. Not had headache yet thank goodness.

    Hey Stephx.............Sorry to hear what your going through, of coarse we all have the sinus crap also, just in diff ways. What kinda gives me SOME releif are ant inflammatory's Ibuprofen keep on it for a few days, I kow u hear this all the time, lots of water a glass every half hour.............thats my input, good luck

    You poor thing it sounds awful. I have had this for 3 months with no relief now. Have had a CT scan but came back inconclusive. I would suggest doxycycline which is an antibiotic for sinus problems. Ask your GP. It's the only thing that has given me temporary relief, but keep doing saline solutions and steam inhalation too
